Our latest (Christmas!) campaign for Vodafone Ireland broke last week - playing on shared moments of surprise; the most memorable Christmas moments.
Due to a lack of understanding about which phone to buy means people often tell a family member which one to give as a gift – thus making Christmas morning feeling a little flat. Vodafone have the product range, the ideas and the know-how to make sure that giving a phone at Christmas doesn't have to be a predictable affair. And beyond present-giving, the network fuels Irish people's ability to plot a whole range of shared seasonal surprises. Our campaign is based around the fact that Vodafone can help you pull off the great surprises that make a great Christmas.
The campaign - which is showing in cinemas as a 60' spot and then on TV as a 60'/40' spot - involves a magical festive tale; the story of a group of animals who live in a forest. The son of a family of reindeers is returning home through the snow to see his friends and family for Christmas. However, when he arrives home, no one is there. Unbeknown to him, they’ve planned a surprise party and when he turns to leave the forest to his delight one by one all of his friends begin to appear.
